Substance Abuse Counseling


Quitting drug use often requires an effective personalized treatment intervention; which includes encouragement, support, and tools for returning to productive functioning in the family, workplace, and society. 

DUI Services:


DUI SCREENING: Your screening should be completed within 30 days of your court order. You will need to bring a copy of your ticket or the Admin Per Se from the MVD. Screenings consist of a face-to-face interview and two standardized tests; which takes approximately 45 to 60 minutes. The results are submitted electronically to the MVD.  A screening is required to obtain a Restricted Driver's License; which allows an individual to drive to and from work, school, and counseling or treatment.

DUI EDUCATION: Education consist of at least 16 hours of substance abuse education and must be completed within 8 weeks from the date of the first class. A written pre-test is required and a post-test at the end of the class. At the completion of the program, confirmation is submitted electronically to the MVD and a certificate will be provided. 

DUI TREATMENT: Level 1 treatment consists of 16 hours of DUI Education and at least 20 hours of group counseling that will be provided by a Behavioral Health Professional. Treatment must be completed within 16 weeks from the admission date. After the program has been completed, confirmation is submitted electronically to the MVD and a certificate is provided as verification of completion.

Some clients with a suspended or revoked license are required by MVD to complete an MVD Revocation Packet; which includes being screened by a licensed Independent Substance Abuse Counselor. It is to be completed upon eligibility to drive. This appointment will take approximately 1-hour to complete.

Be prepared by having Part A signed and notarized as well as Parts B completed by your assigned court. Please bring any ceritificates of treatment programs that you have completed. After your appointment is completed, your completed documents will be mailed from our office. Arizona MVD makes the final determination as to whether or not a driver's license is reinstated. The MVD will mail you a copy of their decision 4 weeks after your appointment.
